Create your own wearable textile totem

Inspired by the idea of the totem—an object that carries memory, protection, and personal meaning—this 3-hour workshop with artist Oana Tudose invites you to create your own wearable textile piece.

Working with themes of connection, care, and self-expression, we’ll create a warm, non-judgmental space where you can explore making through touch and intuition. Your piece can become something personal and symbolic—a soft object that holds a story, a feeling, or simply a moment in time.

We’ll play with wool fibers, metal leafs, found textiles, and small personal objects like old jewellery or beads, while you’re gently guided through basic needle felting techniques.

You’re warmly invited to bring a small object of personal significance—something worn, found, or forgotten such as a broken earring or a piece of fabric or a tiny keepsake — which you can incorporate into your work, transforming it into a meaningful wearable totem.

This workshop is open to all levels of experience, all materials are provided and by the end of the workshop you will have a soft sculpture and personal totem ready to wear, carry or hang.

Includes light refreshments — tea, coffee, fruits, nuts and access into an artist studio. Specialty ibrik greek coffee will also be available.
