Oana Tudose (b. 1987, Romania) is a multidisciplinary artist and designer who graduated Piet Zwart institute in 2014. She has since developed her visual language while working on a diversity of projects and exploring an array of artistic mediums, such as spatial design, installations, and painting.
Drawing inspiration from the diverse ecosystems of nature, her personal memories, and ancient mythologies, she forms vibrant visual narratives where imagination and memory could co-exist. Her practice often begins with drawing and leads to textile manipulations weaved with poetry and found objects. In her most recent focus on textiles, she is extending her commitment to sustainable practices and techniques while researching the theme of loss, as textiles were a medium of artistic expression in the house where she grew up.
